Welcome!

Relaxing with our family...that is how this blog began. One Saturday, our family was watching Be Our Chef on Disney+, and after the show was over, my sister, Cookie, asked if we could audition for the show. Our parents said no, although our Mom said she had thought about it. But they allowed us to have a cooking competition as a family. Later that evening, Cookie had the idea to start a blog about us and our passion for cooking together. After an hour or so of thinking of a name and planning recipes and posts, spiceasnice was born.

We want to share with you that cooking is not a chore. It is an adventure of success (and failure).  Join us on this exciting journey!
